My process…
I began modeling simple shapes: the head, body, and ears. The more complex shapes like the arms and clothing required sculpting.
I knew I wanted him to look like a vinyl toy. Luckily, plastic is the easiest thing to emulate in 3d. Shout out to my partner for designing his patches!
The rigging process is easier when you know how the character will move. Luckily we took care of that in the storyboarding process.
